What’s the Shit and What to Dump

I like makeup. And doing hair. And painting my nails hot pink one week and sunshine yellow the next. I am a chick. Stereotypical? Probably. But the good news is I do it with a dash of intelligent social awareness, and make sure that my glossy lips and tips weren’t tested on animals. There are tonnes of companies like MAC, Bobbi Brown and OPI that are A-ok with the annoying animal rights people and divas alike.

So, for all you beautiful AND intelligent ladies, I thought I would give you the scoop on what products are the shit and which ones to dump: *Note: I’m only including super-popular brands. For a full listing of the good and bad guys I’ve attached a link below.

I promise this is the last animal rights rant of 2008, and then it’s back to writing about observations on the bus and other exciting and sarcastic memoirs of a city girl.
